Challenge: The owner of a large real estate company in Denver, Colorado called and had business opportunities in twenty-two different states. He said that he only had one call center and several toll free numbers, and he would like to know if we had a way to provide him with local numbers for all of the states so that when his employees were calling back people from the different states, a local caller identification could be displayed so his company had the appearance of being located in that particular state. He also asked if the person were to call the number back based off caller ID, would the number ‘work.’ He needed local presence numbers from AccessDirect.
Solution: I told the owner that AccessDirect could provide him with twenty-two different numbers; one from each state/city he chose. When the employees call out of the call center, they can use our AccessDirect virtual number as their caller ID. If the person calls back on that number, they will get a greeting that tells them they are calling the company and that particular location, (e.g. “Thanks for calling Acme Real Estate in Kansas City”), and then AccessDirect will transfer the call to the call center. The person calling would think that they were calling the Kansas City location and not the call center in Denver.
Results: The real estate company now has the look and feel of a local brick and mortar shop. They use the local virtual numbers to call out and receive calls. Their customers appreciate knowing that the company is local to them. They have more trust in the realtors who have a local presence opposed to calling a toll free number. Business is booming for the real estate company and they are very glad they decided to go with service from AccessDirect!
