‘Go Green’ with AccessDirect!
Challenge: A company in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada wanted several consultants to work from home, and the whole basis of their company was that they advocated working from home to avoid the contamination that daily commute caused to the environment. They couldn’t find any company that would be ‘environmentally friendly’ enough to host a phone number and route their calls to their cell phones and home phones. They had searched for companies in Canada but couldn’t find what they were looking for, so they did a search and found AccessDirect.
Solution: AccessDirect provided the Canadian company with a Virtual PBX. The Direct Receptionist package allowed callers to call into a main number, and then be routed to the appropriate consultant. The consultants were then able to perform all of their work duties from home and ‘practice what they preach.’
Results: The Canadian company was really surprised to know ‘such a system existed.’ They are extremely happy that people can call a central number (they used their existing number) and get an auto-attendant that gave customers options to route to their home phones and cell phones. They really love that they can work from home and they maintain no ‘brick and mortar’ office. They are thrilled that if they want, they can transfer their calls to another consultant in another home-office with the touch of a button. They couldn’t have found a better fit for their ‘environment friendly’ business.
