Call Screening Function
As a business owner, your time is your most valuable resource. AccessDirect’s call screening feature lets you know who’s on the line, putting you in control of what calls you take live and which ones you send to voicemail. When you answer a call, our system will prompt you to press 1 to accept the call, or 2 to reject. Press 1, and the call is connected – you can start talking live to your caller right away! And don’t worry about any calls you reject: they’re sent to your AccessDirect voicemail box, and a copy of their message is sent immediately to your email. Manage your time, and still never miss a call!
Use With Any Phone
If you’re using your cell phone or home land line to run your business, you don’t want your customers going to your personal voicemail. You also don’t want personal calls from family and friends to interrupt when you’re working with clients. Call Accept/Reject can take care of it for you! By announcing all calls that come to you through your AccessDirect system, you’ll know it’s a business opportunity on the other end. And if you do send a customer call to voicemail, the call screening feature will send it to your business voicemail with AccessDirect, not your personal voicemail. The feature works even if you don’t answer the phone: if no button is pressed, the call is sent to your AccessDirect voicemail box. Every call is treated with efficiency, with just the press of a button – or not!
Easy to Use, Easy to Customize
Any mailbox can be configured with Call Accept/Reject, and further customization is available. The system can prompt your callers to say their name before the call is transferred, or we can simply announce the name of the extension that the call is coming in from – great if multiple extensions are ringing to one phone! We can also disable the call screening feature on an extension-by-extension basis. All it takes is a quick call or email to our customer service department, and we can make the change in seconds.
